Gno Studio™ Privacy Policy
Gno.land (“we”, “us”, or “our”), hosted by NewTendermint, LLC (“NewTendermint”), provides Gno Studio™, which is a shared digital space for software and code interaction, along with capabilities surrounding them, and a user and developer tool designed for builders (non-developers and developers). It enables them to innovate, build, and interact within the Gno.land ecosystem by providing a variety range of features and components. Gno Studio is a vital tool within the Gno.land ecosystem. Its key features and components include, but are not limited to, the creation of realms (smart contracts), packages, coding, code interaction, seamless code sharing via unique URLs, deployment/publication of realms and packages onto the Gno.land and Gno.land-compatible blockchains, package and realm interaction, a social platform, a marketplace, a playground, an integrated development environment (IDE), language tools for Gnolang, testing, debugging, and state inspection. Users should note that Gno Studio does not offer any auditing, security checks, or functionality validation of code used in Gno Studio. This Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect, use, process, and disclose your personal information.
1. Scope and Updates to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by us in connection with Gno Studio and all of its components, or wherever this Privacy Policy is linked. By accessing or using Gno Studio, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to the Gno Studio Terms of Service and to our collection, storage, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that once your personal information has been entered, you may no longer be able to access, delete, or modify the personal information you have provided.
Changes to our Privacy Policy. We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time in our sole discretion. If there are material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you as required by applicable law. You understand and agree that you will be deemed to have accepted the updated Privacy Policy if you continue to use Gno Studio after the new Privacy Policy takes effect.

We collect personal information mainly to provide you with the services on Gno Studio. The categories of personal information we collect depend on how you interact with us and the requirements of applicable law. We collect personal information from a variety of sources, such as when you provide it to us, information we obtain automatically when you use Gno Studio, and information from other sources, such as third-party services and organizations as described below.

We may collect certain information automatically when you use Gno Studio, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, Github address, user settings, MAC address, cookie identifiers, mobile carrier, mobile advertising and other unique identifiers, browser or device information, and Internet service provider. We may also automatically collect information regarding your use of Gno Studio, such as pages that you visit before, during, and after using Gno Studio, information about the links you click, the types of content you interact with, the frequency and duration of your activities, and other information about how you use Gno Studio.

We mainly use your personal information to provide you with access to our services, answer requests for customer or technical support, communicate with you about your account, activities on Gno Studio, and policy changes, and register for other NewTendermint offerings. We may also use your personal information for a variety of business purposes, including to provide you with Gno Studio, for administrative purposes, to collect analytics, and to market Gno Studio. We might also use your personal information for direct marketing, research and development (including marketing research), network and information security, and fraud prevention. Your personal information may also be used to measure interest and engagement in Gno Studio, improve, upgrade, or enhance Gno Studio, develop new products or services, debug, identify or repair errors, enforce or agreements, and policies, and any other activities required to comply with our legal obligations.
We will also use your personal information for other purposes that are clearly disclosed to you at the time you provide your personal information or with your consent. For example, as part of Gno Studio, you will have the ability to publish your code to the public, where it will be available to anyone around the world. We strongly recommend that you do not post any information through Gno Studio that allows strangers to identify or locate you or that you otherwise do not want to share with the public.

We will retain your personal information for as long as you use Gno Studio, or other NewTendermint products or services, for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was collected, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.
6. Security of Your Personal Information
We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you provide to us. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we do not accept liability for unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or loss of personal information.
By providing personal information to us, you agree that we may communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of Gno Studio. If we learn of a security system’s breach, we may attempt to notify you electronically by posting a notice on our website, by mail, or by sending an email to you.
7. California Residents
California residents may request information concerning the categories of personal information, if any, we share with third parties or affiliates for their direct marketing purposes. If you would like more information, please contact us as outlined below.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” privacy preference. Generally, when a user turns on the Do Not Track Signal, their browser sends a message to websites requesting that the user not be tracked. Our websites currently do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

If your personal information is subject to the applicable data protection laws of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority or attorney general if you believe our processing of your personal information violates applicable law.

All information processed by us may be transferred, processed, and stored anywhere in the world, including, but not limited to, the United States or other countries, which may have data protection laws that are different from the laws where you live. We endeavor to safeguard your information consistent with the requirements of applicable laws.
If we transfer personal information which originates in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, and/or the United Kingdom to a country that has not been found to provide an adequate level of protection under applicable data protection laws, one of the safeguards we may use to support such transfer is the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
